R.I.P Bryan Barrow

As some of you may now, a vital member of the Kansas skateboarding scene passed away on Saturday. Bryan Barrow was not a close friend of mine, but he was someone who's company I enjoyed immensely. He was always down to skate and always did so with tremendous passion. He barged life the same way he did skating, hard and fast. As anyone who has ever spent any amount of time with Bryan can attest, he was a happy individual. Always a smile on his face, running around hyped as can be. His loss will be truly missed in Kansas City and elsewhere.

This feels like a bad dream man. It wasn't but a week ago that I was talking to Brian about how you were blowing up and going to be the next big thing from KC. That introduction to Studio commercial plays like a eulogy in my mind on repeat. Yet another great skateboarder taken before his time. Your name will remain in my brain with Keenan Milton, Shane Cross, Harold Hunter and Van Wastell. I still remember the first time we skated together. You picked me and gage up and we went to the fed ledges, and you were just straight killing it. I remember just being blown away with home fast you were skating on that skinny little ledge to gap. I know that you lived your life the fullest and enjoyed every minute. Your loss will be felt throughout Kansas City and anywhere else you came in contact with anyone. A true individual, with a mean nollie heel. Take it easy bro
